You are listening to a new and very nice effect of old fashioned music, oldies as we like calling them, (music from '20s, '30s, '40s) and it is sounding like it is coming from another room with relaxing rain and thunder sounds. I hope you guys enjoy the another room effect to oldies songs
– Imagine that it's summer 1949 and you are sitting and reading by the lake and it's the first day of summer, a warm day, the birds are chirping, you can hear the calm water sounds and the oldies music from the building behind you while you feel nostalgic of days gone by.
This unique combination between oldies music with relaxing rain sounds but this time no thunder sound effects and no rain but it's from another room. Enjoy this 11 HOURS ASMR bliss!

Que vibe phodástica! Parece que tô sentado em frente ao lago do Ibirapuera nos anos 1940.
Guys, sorry if ads appear during the video but this is not my fault, a song got claimed and now they are putting ads over it and I can’t trim it out because the video is too long. Thank you for understanding!

Wow yeah this must have taken DAYS to upload, me trying to upload a 1 hour video took overnight basically and then some…..actually curious how long it took to upload….
i wish i could travel across the time, no to the future, but direct to 1900
That’s okay. I’m not sure how I got here but I’m so glad I did! ?
Your dreamscapes are great! I’ve been searching for something like this to calm me down for so long, and I am happy I finally found your Youtube channel! THANK YOU for creating it!
They should subscribe to YouTube anyway, it’s the best.
What a pleasant setting. I was born in the summer of 1949.
@Kay Muldoon i was born in the summer of 2003 ?
wow i didnt know olds knew how to use youtube or computer well done!
@Craftsman CTFL I truly adore the culture of the 1940s-1950s. I’m sure I could listen to your stories for hours and not get bored.
@h0rriphic Yes, all those things, including the beginning and end of the Vietnam War, then Watergate. When I was a young child in a small town, we didn’t even have a rotary dial telephone. We’d just pick up the phone and a live operator would ask, “Number, please?” and we’d say it to her. Even when we got dial phones, we’d still have to dial “0” and have the operator connect us on long distance calls, which were relatively expensive. Early cell phones were the size of a brick!
You have seen so many things happen! Color tv! Cold War, Moon landing, so many pop culture moments, the advent of the internet…what a life
I love the shape of the trees. It looks like a huge dinosaur drinking from the lake ?
I can’t unsee it now and not mad about it
Hell yeah
Hey, you got that different pov, that’s cool !
Oh my gosh, totally!
can’t unseen – thank you
This is so so lovely. Makes me a little melancholy. My Dad passed away earlier this year and his birthday was 9/25/49 so I can imagine my Grandma and Grandpa happily anticipating their baby’s arrival listening to this. Thank you for this channel❤️
I am so sorry for your loss, Caitlin. ?
That is such a beautiful bittersweet thought ?
I am sorry for your loss??
Sorry for your loss.
For those wondering, the gif in the background is from a french movie called “Le Genou de Claire” (Claire’s Knee) directed by Eric Rohmer, a prominent figure of La Nouvelle Vague (The French New Wave film movement in the 60s. Really recommend this film.
@Nemo’s Dreamscapes Yes, I just wanted to write it here in the comments in case others hadn’t looked in the description :).
Have you read the description? Thanks!
This is wonderful thank you. I was born in early 1949 – such lovely background music to my day 🙂
We are in winter in Argentina, and this video feels warm and peaceful, thanks Nemo ?
De Argentina también! Qué provincia?
The same here in Brazil =D
OH! That’s right! I forgot about that. Mrs. Vallerjo used to tell us about that in school, Christmas in Argentina. She was wonderful! I loved her stories. Enjoy your winter, Valentina ❄
I was born waaaay after 1949 and yet my soul seems to remember this music. So strangely beautiful.
Nemo, I came across your channel last spring when my dog was about to pass and your videos were the only thing that could help my small family get to sleep during that time. I’m a college student on a severely strict budget and so have been unable to become a patron, but once I get my nursing licensure that will change. In the meantime, I will continue to recommend your channel to my fellow students or anyone who needs a calming background. Thank you for all that you do, seriously.
This music (and video) is dreamy. Very comforting. Thank you for putting this concept together and sharing. The world needs more of this. ?
I always put your dreamscapes in the background when I’m reading. Creates such a mood with the music and sounds you add. ??? Keep it up!
Thanks for putting this together! Just one comment, I think the nature sounds are bit too loud relative to the music.
Agreed
This is such great music to listen to while I work at a stressful job. I needed this. Thank you.
Such wonderful effects, including the old-time scratches and the lake sounds with birds.
I just clicked on this recommended video. this channel is magical. thank you for the beautiful work ?
Very relaxing ?♀️ Thank you so much Nemo ♥️✨
This is the most fantastic video ever–the combo of old-time jazz and outdoors sounds is AMAZING. I could listen to this all day. Thank you Nemo!!!
Ahhh, I just came home from a trip at our family cabin where for a few days I got lost in a good book in a setting that looked very similar to this. Even the nature sounds remind me of the morning chirping from the birds I heard as we awoke early to the bright morning light while the sun rose. I am yearning to return as soon as possible. What a paradise. I can only hope this is what heaven looks like.
This is heaven, such a great mix. Makes me so nostalgic for a time I never lived through but somehow feel in my old soul!
