You haven’t heard of Joe Hishashi then.
I don’t know what it is with Chopin, but as soon as someone plays a few notes from one of his pieces I instinctively just know it’s him even if I don’t know the particular piece. Does anyone else experience the same thing? It’s like he tapped into a different way of creating music. Very special individual indeed.

I just want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for the person who put together this wonderful 6-hour, nonstop, collection of Chopin’s piano music. I never cease appreciating the quality, the creativity, and the compositional resources of the Polish composer. His nocturnes, études, polonaises, preludes, etc. has been a source of delight for the lover of classical music.

chopin en verdad es mi compositor favorito, lo que produze al momento de tocar piezas como estas te elevas y te desconectas completamente del mundo… muchos dirán no es que bach, beethoven, fueron los mejores compositores pero no se logra comparar con los sentimientos que este tipo de piezas genera… saludos 🙂
Many years ago, as a young teacher in London, I was at a loss at how to keep a difficult class quiet and on task. I had read somewhere about the calming effects of baroque music. It worked perfectly. After that, I played it regularly. On one occasion, I set a task forgetting to turn it on. A hand went up. “Sir, the music.”
Chopin is one of my favourite composers, his music is sooo incredibly beautiful !
